As I soar through the air, my eyes search the darkness around me. I see small lights glistening everywhere. It's  breathtaking to be apart of whats happening, to be apart of this moment. It is July 20th 1969 ; I remember the days leading to this one. I thought about how I felt then. When I thought about what this accomplishment would feel like. It is completely different, it is more rewarding than anyone could even imagine. I watched as my fellow astronaut ventured along the surface, taking photographs and collecting rock samples. It was almost time for my job to be done. I headed back toward the rocket taking my time with every gentle leap. I reached inside and retrieved what I needed to get the job done. I thought to myself " Now a have to find the perfect spot." I searched with my curious eyes once again. I see it ! I wander over, slowly of course. I'm finally here, and with all the strength I have in my already exhausted body I stab the powdered charcoal beneath me. It is now left with a small mark from us to prove that we were here.
